SEED, the annual fund-raiser for Art Conspiracy, is coming soon, and guess what object artists will have their way with this year….
Art Conspiracy has extended the deadline for nonprofit organizations to submit applications to become its beneficiary. Resolana received funds from last year’s event. According to the application: We fund non-profit organizations that offer creative programming in the form of art or music that gives back to youth, families, and citizens within the Dallas city limits. The numbers are in: Art Conspiracy 5 raised $20,000 for Resolana, thanks to around 2,200 of you who turned out for the event. I spent the morning going through many of the pictures that folks made that night for the Art&Seek Con Artist Gallery. And now, it’s time to thank all the folks who helped [...]
One thing we know for sure: this month’s ArtCon5 raised a ton of money for Resolana. Just how much is still in question. We should have that total any day now. But while we wait, please enjoy these interviews with artists whose work was auctioned off to raise all that money.

Thanks to all who stopped by the Art&Seek table at Art Conspiracy on Saturday. More than 100 of you took the time to make your self-portrait and hang it in our Con Artist Gallery, and now we’ve got the photos to prove it.
In the Saturday Spotlight, we’re buying art for a good cause. At Art Conspiracy, Telegraph Canyon, The Crash that Took Me and other local bands will play, and 150 North Texas artists will auction off their work. The proceeds benefit Resolana, an organization that provides rehabilitative arts programming for women in area jails.

As we gear up for a special project at this year’s Art Conspiracy, Art&Seek HQ is beginning to resemble one of the artist studios Cindy has been documenting so diligently.
