Our thanks to all the artists who shared their work at Pecha Kucha Dallas last Wednesday at City Performance Hall.

If you’ve got a few minutes, we have saucy puppets (Michael Robinson), an artist in a box (Erica Felicella), the power of video (Bart Weiss), the power of art in West Dallas (Bernardo Diaz), and a beautiful poem and photo journey to the land of the Gullah people (David Herman, Jr.).  All delivered in Pecha Kucha’s signature style – 20 slides, 20 seconds per slide.

Look for more videos tomorrow.

Finally got around to seeing this: wow! More More More! I loved the “Avenue Q” puppets by Michael Robinson out of my love for Michael and interest in his work I already knew — but meeting all the other presented in Pencha Kucha was equally thrilling. What a fascinating “way in” to things I need to know more about!

Thank you Art&Seek for the free tickets to last Wednesdays Pecha Kucha! A friend and I attended for the first time. We enjoyed seeing the variety of individual artists and learning new things about the arts in Dallas!
