Pecha Kucha in Dallas has turned into a great place to learn about new ideas and the people hatching them. Artists, engineers, designers, city “planners” (both guerilla and official). Even the owner of a gentlemen’s club. All presenting on a project or idea that they’re pursuing now. Mark your calendar for May 12 at Sons of Hermann Hall.
The theme for the evening is “Game changers.” And as usual, each presenter will show 20 images and can speak about each for 20 seconds. That keeps things moving. Speakers this time around include:
- Ben Hutchison and Michael Siegel with Green House Truck,
- Andrew Sturn with bc Workshop and 5750 Dallas project
- Harvey Lacey with Recycled Plastic Block Houses
- Dawn Rizos/Michael Precker with The Lodge (yes, you read that right.)
- War photographer Kael Alford
- Sean Garman from Perkins + Will
- Dr. Monica Evans, UTD’s gaming program
