The Dallas Symphony Orchestra announced Thursday that it is postponing its planned nine-city European tour scheduled for early 2010. The new tour is now planned for 2012.
The reason, as you may have guessed: the economy.
“The responsible thing to do is to postpone the tour,” DSO President Douglas Adams said in a news release. “We will be aligning our resources toward different artistic initiatives.”
