The Monuments Men Foundation was honored yesterday with a 2007 National Medal of Humanities. Robert M. Edsel, who founded the organization, co-produced The Rape of Europa, wrote the book Rescuing Da Vinci, and appeared on an episode of the Think television show last July, received the award in a White House ceremony (as Michael Granberry reports here).
